Our baby department is now open and ready for some little feet to get exploring!
Flying Start @ Camborne Enjoy Garden Play!
We have been outside exploring water play, we used bubbles and kept it fresh throughout the play session. Practicing our pouring looking at the water changing colour and used herbs from the garden to discover different scents!
We have also been developing our hand eye coordination, using leaves to thread outdoor in our learning garden.
Flying Start @ Camborne Leave A Mark!
The children have been mark making with paint in the outdoor environment. Using different colours to create marks, the older holiday club have been mixing their coloured paints to create different shades. Using their hands and sticks to create different marks.
Babies have been exploring petals from the flowers, practising their pouring and scooping skills.
Flying Start @ Camborne Have Been Exploring Numbers In The Garden!
This week at Camborne we have been exploring numbers and letters outside in our learning garden. We then had a sound hunt in the garden looking for natural objects beginning with the sounds and letters we found. This is helping us prepare for school.

The children have been getting ready for starting school in September, they are practising writing their own names and learning their phonic sounds.
Flying Start @ Camborne And The New Baby Room August 2020
We are delighted to announce that we are expanding the excellent care available in our Camborne nursery to babies in August 2020. Currently, we are taking bookings for the under 2’s and are excited to be able to offer outstanding care from specialist baby practitioners including daily trips to our fabulous garden.
Whilst offering multi sensory play we adhere strictly to our rigorous guidelines for infection control. We are of course registered by Ofsted and have 28 years experience in caring for the youngest babies. We also cater for all ages up to 11 including funding for 2,3 and 4 year old’s in the rest of the nursery.

The children have been outside enjoying the lovely weather, they have created their own seesaw and have been using natural resources to build towers!
They have enjoyed having all our snack times outside.

The children have built an outside obstacle course! They have spent their time practising their balancing skills and moving in different ways across the obstacles. We have had so such fun and really enjoyed getting creative outside!
