Flying Start @ Cornwall College Celebrate ‘World Mental Health Day’ With Activities To Explore Feelings!

Flying Start @ Cornwall College enjoyed a busy day full of activities focusing on their feelings and emotions, for World Mental Health Day!

The pre-school departments explored their emotions by using mirrors, to try out making faces that they might make when they are feeling happy, sad, excited or angry…

And then they painted their faces onto specially designed worksheets… Look at that concentration!

And here are some of the fantastic self-portraits the children created!

The toddlers and pre-school also decorated gingerbread men, made especially by the cook, to illustrate different emotions… Some of the younger children did their most angry looking scribbles to show what frustration can feel like!

Amazing work, well done to Flying Start @ Cornwall College for doing so many great activities on World Mental Health Day!
