Flying Start @ Camborne Enjoy Lots of Stories

The whole setting have spent the week celebrating National Story Telling Week.

Practitioners were guided by the children’s interests and favourite books to create some wonderful imaginary experiences.

The younger children have had many sensory experiences based on the book ‘The Runaway Pea’, and ‘The Gruffalo’

Toddlers focused their week around a favourite story of ‘The Tiger Who Came To Tea’ where they had a tea party, retold the story using props and even made their own tiger faces.

Pre-School used a different story a day, one day they became pirates and went on their own treasure hunt, they creating their very own stick man and even told a wonderful story about insects and created their own bug hotel.
