Flying Start @ Camborne watch, hear and smell the road laying right outside the nursery…

The children could smell tarmac, and could hear very noisy machines so peeped over the garden wall

and saw some very kind work men, who explained how the different tools worked to clean the road of old concrete, and then lay the new tarmac.

The children hunted around the garden and shed and found lots of resources to copy what they were observing.

They then had lots of explorative play being builders, and making lots of loud noises with their equipment they pretend were large pneumatic drills!
