Flying Start @ Duchy Celebrate Chinese New Year!
The staff and children at Flying Start @ Duchy have been celebrating Chinese New Year with lots of different fun activities!
The pre-school children listened to a special story which described what Chinese New Year is all about, and then they enjoyed a food testing session where the children tried spring rolls, egg fried rice and prawn crackers! Yum!

The children also enjoyed exploring noodles and beansprouts…the younger ones with their hands and the older ones practised usingtongs to pick them up and put them into bowls!

The staff also hosted a stay and play session with parents, where  the children made lanterns with their parents and decorated roosters as it is the Year of the Rooster!
