Flying Start @ Duchy Celebrate St. Piran’s Day!

Flying Start @ Duchy celebrated St. Piran’s day by making Cornish Flags using black paper and white tissue paper!

The children really liked getting sticky with the glue!

 

For their cooking club this week, the Cornish theme continued as they made Cornish scones… the children helped to weigh out each of the ingredients carefully before mixing them together into dough.

They then carefully rolled out the dough and cut into the circles before the adults put them into the oven.

And the best part… the children got to enjoy their scones as an extra special snack time, and they added butter or jam on to the top… delicious!
