Flying Start @ Duchy Explore Cafe Role-Play!

The pre-school department at Flying Start @ Duchy have created their very own café, to role-play in!

The children spoke about their own experiences of going to cafes and ordering food and drink, and then with the help of the nursery nurses, they created a spider diagram of items that they would need to create their own…

The children have been especially enjoying dresisng up in their chefs costume, and taking it in turn to take food orders from their friends and write them down, before cooking them up…

The children have also been sitting at the table with their dollies and ordering them food too!

This has been great fun, but is also supporting the children’s relationships and pretend play too!
