Flying Start @ Duchy Stay and Play in the Forest!

 

Flying Start @ Duchy have had an outing all together to the forest, with children, staff, parents and relatives!

The nursery went to the forest to get creative with their friends and family in their beautiful local environment, using the natural resources to enhance their learning!

They visited the stream and collected some water to mix with petals, leaves, twigs and other found objects to create special magic potions! Mixing it all in and casting their magic spells!

Each family were then given a little animal puppet that they had to go into the forest with and create a home!

As you can see Mums, Dads, Relatives and the Children all got very creative! Using logs, twigs, leaves of different shapes and sizes the families created dens for their animals, keeping them warm safe and dry!
