Flying Start @ Marjon Paint In The Rain!

Flying Start @ Marjon are making the most of the rain… with powder paint outside balloons!

Throwing the balloons to see the powder explode into the puddles …

There were different colours everywhere, so the children used their wellies, their hands and paintbrushes to explore mixing the colours in the rain!

This activity also really developed speaking and listening, as the children excitedly predicted what was going to happen next and shouted out what they could see happening, using different language and descriptive words.

What an unusual, but very expressive way to explore the paints and the rain together!
