Flying Start @ Penryn Celebrate St.Piran’s Day!

Flying Start @ Penryn have been exploring our Cornish heritage, and celebrating St.Piran’s day!

The children have made their own St.Piran’s flags to wave…

  

And then the children got stuck into a special cookery session making Cornish pasties!

They carefully rolled out their pastry using rolling pins, and then filled their pasties up with lots of vegetables, with the help of the staff who then put them in the oven… and later they got to try their delicious pasties!
