Flying Start @ Penryn’s Water Wall!

Flying Start @ Penryn have created a Water Wall in their garden!

Using tubes, pipes, funnels and other resourceful equipment the staff have created an exciting water station for the children.

Using jugs and cups the children pour water, choosing which pipe or funnel it is going to go down and then watch it as it finds its way to the bottom and lands with a splash at their feet in a tray!

The water can run in different directions and at different speeds so the children have started to race and guess who’s will get to the bottom first!

A fantastic learning opportunity outside for motor skill development, developing an awareness of quantities, speed and first hand science in action!
