Flying Start @ Cornwall College Toddler’s Taste Exotic Fruits

Their learning theme this half term is the story book ‘Handa’s Surprise’ which introduces lots of African animals and fruits through Handa’s journey to visit her friend Akeyo!

To really help make the story come to life for the children the Nursery Cook kindly ordered exotic fruits to try!

Exploring the fruit by smelling it, feeling the different textures and then tasting.. which was the Toddler’s favourite part!

On the tasting menu was Avocado, Pomegranate,  Blueberries, Grapefruit, Lychees and even a Lemon!
