Flying Start @ Marjon Leaf Exploration
This week the toddler room @ Flying Start Marjon have been on a hunt for leaves and we have then been using these to paint and make marks!

Flying Start @ Marjon Bubble Play
This week the toddlers @ Flying Start Marjon have enjoyed making bubbles! They explored different ways to make the most bubbles, before having a great time splashing them all around the garden.
Flying Start @ Marjon Garden
Following a revamp of our garden we are loving our obstacle courses and exploration stations. Such great fun!!
Flying Start @ Marjon Mini Explorers
As part of our Flora’s mini explorer’s programme, this week the children have been learning our rules for when we go on outings. We know we have to walk nicely, holding on to our friends hands. We have to walk in a line, one in front of the other.
When we go to the forest we then get to explore. This week we made birds nests, saw a frog and a deer and then had a game of hide a seek.
Back at our shepherd’s huts we have been making yummy soups, using mud, leaves and flowers, mixed with water in our mud kitchen.
I wonder what next week will bring.
Flying Start @ Marjon are Pirates!
This week the toddlers have been having fun roleplaying as pirates, making a pirate ship and learning some songs!

Flying Start @ Marjon Role Play
The Babies at Marjon have really enjoyed their newly revamped role play area! They had lots of fun looking in the cupboards, pretending to cook with pots and spoons, and having tea parties with their friends! 😊
Flying Start @ Marjon Cooking
This week, the children @ Flying Start Marjon have been exploring cooking. They have enjoyed pretending to make soup, cake and carrots using stones, pinecones, water, and anything else they can find including sensory items such as rice and pasta. Investigating the different ways they can use them to make their own creations.
Flying Start @ Cornwall College Make Brownies
Holiday club and preschool @ Flying Start Cornwall College have been making yummy chocolate brownies this week.
With a little help they, measured and weighed their ingredients, mixed, and finally baked them!

Flying Start @ Marjon Bear Hunt
The Toddler room @ Flying Start Marjon have read we’re going on a bear hunt; we then took part in some natural objects painting. We talked about the different colours and painted rocks and used flowers as paintbrushes. We had lots of fun talking about what we were painting! 😊
Flying Start Marjon – Make Tea!
This week the toddlers @ Flying Start Marjon have been exploring making tea. They have used flavoured tea bags, petals and herbs. They enjoyed smelling the different fruits and herbs and mixing them all together.
