Flying Start Nurseries Have Signed Up To End Mental Health Stigma!

Flying Start Nurseries have signed up to the ‘Time To Change’ initiative!

As a company we are pledging to end mental health stigma.

We are working towards being a more ‘mental health aware’ company, so that our staff are well supported and our children learn about mental health as well as physical health through their play and feel safe and supported in doing so.

So far we have revised our Stress Management policy that all staff follow and Directors and Managers company wide are undertaking specialist Mental Health Awareness Qualifications, to increase their knowledge of mental health symptoms, signs and illnesses and create a skill set to better support their own staff team.

We are also developing wellness walls, comfort corners and special circle time resources … these initiatives are up and coming to keep your eye on the blog for more information!
