The toddlers have enjoyed cooking club this week.

We weighed all of the ingredients and gave them a good mix.

We then rolled out the dough and cut some beautiful shapes.

When the biscuits had baked in the oven and cooled down we got to take them home. Yum Yum.

This week the toddlers have been exploring water play.

They used jugs and funnels to pour the water.

They were fascinated by pouring the water into the top of the water wheel and watching the water pour through and make the wheel turn.

The Pre-School children went to do forest school at Tehidy Woods with Aniela and Zoe this week!

They went for a walk around the woods collecting natural objects and then found a lovely spot to sit and make some journey sticks to take home. These showed lots of exciting objects they found on their trail.

They all had a wonderful time exploring nature together and can’t wait to go again soon!

This weeks theme has been ‘Lets Get Physical.’

We have been enjoying lots of different sports and activities including football, basketball and dancing.

Ashley led a great Yoga session with the Pre-schooler’s and toddlers learning lots of poses.

This weeks theme has been beach week. So even though we have not had beach weather the holiday club and pre-schooler’s took a trip to the beach…

They made faces in the sand using natural objects they found on the beach, building different facial features and even managing to make some funny faces!

This week Ashley brought in her bread maker and the pre schoolers and holiday club helped add the ingredients to the machine to turn it into pizza dough.

They then rolled out the dough and added their favourite ingredients then baked them in the oven!

We enjoyed our pizza as a treat at lunchtime!

This week the Pre schooler’s have been using the tinkering kit.

They used the hammers and screwdrivers to make beautiful creations to take home.

The Holiday Club at Flying Start @ Camborne went to Tehidy Woods for some Forest School fun!
 
They made emotion faces using play-dough and natural objects that they collected in the woods!
  
 
They then went for a walk around the woods and explored dens and had a look at the wildlife… they climbed, played, and explored!
Great fun had by all!

Flying Start @ Camborne Toddlers Paint With Cars!

The toddlers at Flying Start @ Camborne have done some large artwork out in the garden linking to their theme ‘A Journey home from Grandpas’, which is a story book they have been reading!

 

 

The children used their toy cars to make large marks all over the paper, with brightly coloured paint!

 

 

They then looked at the different track marks and tried to match them to the cars, looking closely at the wheels!

 

 

What wonderful creativity and detective work!

Flying Start @ Camborne Holiday Club Enjoy Forest School Fun!

The holiday club at Flying Start @ Camborne enjoyed their first session of Forest School play in the nursery garden!

 

 

 

They made some beautiful sun catchers using paper plates and natural objects, and were very proud of their creations!

 

 

The children loved exploring, creating, and playing outdoors!

 

 

They will be doing forest school every Friday through the summer at the local woods or in the nursery garden, so there are lots more adventures to come!
