A huge thank you to all of the children, parents, families, and staff who have been a part of Flying Start over the last 24 years… We have seen different generations and whole families come through the nurseries, and hundreds of children given a Flying Start to Lifelong Learning!

As well as our loyal amazing staff – some who have been with us for many many years – who help make those Flying Starts happen!

Thank you all & here is to many more brilliant years!

Flying Start @ Helston Pre-School Do Finger Gym!
The pre-school department at Flying Start @ Helston have been starting their new theme of ‘growing’ for this term…
To theme their finger gym, the staff created a fantastic themed activity of buried worms that the children have to find to feed to the hungry chickens!
Using pipe cleaners for worms, buried under oats, the pre-schoolers have been using tweezers to find them and give a big strong squeeze to carry the worms to the feeding plates!
Really good fun & a great chance for the pre-schoolers to do some challenging finger gym!
