The Preschool children have been exploring risky play in the garden, they have been using the climbing frame, tires, and wood planks to make different areas to climb, balance and jump off.

Flying Start @ Duchy Have Been Creating Patterns With Happa Zome!
The preschool children have been enjoying creating their own patterns using Hapa zome. The children had all their own equipment, collected their own materials in the garden and then started to create. The children used hammers and cloth to create their wonderful masterpieces!
Flying Start @ Duchy Explore Natural Materials In The Garden!
The whole nursery in each of their bubbles explored using clay and materials in the garden. The children had been focusing on animals and then collected their own natural items into their
individual trays to create their own animals with the clay!

The preschool department have been very busy this week!
They have been making things from recycled materials, practising pen control, planting seeds and going on bug hunts in the sensory garden!!

Flying Start @ Marjon Make A Rainbow!
This week we have been making rainbow invitations. We heard that some of the NHS staff that were living on the Marjon campus as they were having to isolate away from their families due to their job roles and were feeling a little lonely.
Therefore we have created some rainbow pictures inviting them to our daily wake up shake up session in the car park to encourage social distancing.
Flying Start @ Duchy And A New Way Of Painting!
The children have been doing painting this week. They have all had their own pallet of paint, their own paintbrush, and their own cup of water. The children spent quite a long time on their pictures, using all the colours.
Flying Start @ Saltash Are Back!
Over the last 2 weeks the Saltash children have enjoyed being back at nursery!
In preparation for going to school the Preschool children have been working on their fine motor skills, threading, name writing, scissors.
We have had great fun in the garden making dinosaur worlds.
The baby and toddlers have been planting seeds and having great fun in the garden and getting messy with water play and painting!
All the preschool children have their own named pot filled with pencils, scissors, ruler, glue and a paintbrush and they have used these to take part in a variety of craft sessions.
In the garden the preschool have enjoyed using the magnifying glasses to look for bugs.
Flying Start @ Redruth Paint With Leaves!
Day Nursery have been collecting leaves from the garden to create their own pictures using the leaves as painting tools. They learnt so many new descriptive words through this activity.
