Flying Start @ Saltash Pre-School Make Boats & Cars!

The pre-school department at Flying Start @ Saltash have been exploring different forms of transport, looking especially at boats and cars…

And so they decided to get creative and make their own!

They crafted their masterpieces using lots of different materials, and were very proud with the results!

Meanwhile, the toddlers have been using lots of brightly coloured paints to paint fish for a beautiful colourful display in their room!

Flying Start @ Helston Celebrate Pre-School Graduation With Family Fun Event!

Flying Start @ Helston threw a huge graduation ceremony and big family party, to celebrate their pre-school children graduating on to school!

Nursery manager Dani hosted the graduation ceremony, where the children wore their special graduation caps and gowns – don’t they look smart!

Each child received a certificate, graduation scroll, and a medal – to celebrate their hard work at nursery!

The rest of the nursery came to watch, along with all the graduates extended families including mums, dads, grannies, grandads, siblings, cousins, aunties, friends and more!

The children walked up to get their awards from Dani, through a huge audience of all their families and friends!

After the ceremony, everybody ventured outside into the nursery garden for fairground games such as hook the duck, stack the cans, a photo booth with props, a lucky dip, how many sweeties in the jar, and name the cuddly duck!

A great photo opportunity was snapped up when all the pre-school graduates were invited to throw their graduation caps up in the air!

And delicious party food was enjoyed by all – including a sausage sizzle, home made sausage rolls, cookies, rainbow jellies, popcorn fresh from the popcorn maker and many other tasty treats!

The garden was full to bursting with families, fun and laughter, and a great afternoon was had by all!

The school goers will be greatly missed, but the whole team at Flying Start @ Helston would like to wish them all the very best on their new adventure to school!

Flying Start @ Penryn Have Sports Day!

The whole nursery at Flying Start @ Penryn had a wonderful Sports Day, out on the nursery field!

 

They did lots of activities and races, including a sack race, egg and spoon race, running races and throwing a bean bag in a hoop!

Toddlers, Pre-school and even the older babies had lots of fun running in their races!

A wonderful day of friendly competition, fresh air, and fun for the whole nursery!

Flying Start @ Duchy Host Creative Stay & Play!

The whole nursery at Flying Start @ Duchy are taking part in a 5 weeks of creative stay and play sessions!

At this session, the children taught their parents and carers some songs that they sing at nursery, then they all took part in a wake up shake up session, and then did some colouring in!

Flying Start @ Duchy are excited to be running these great sessions for the next 4 weeks, on Thursday mornings 9am – 10am, for any parents or carers who would like to pop along and join in!
