Flying Start @ Marjon Pre-School Make Big Art! 

The pre-school have been making big artwork creations and all working together & having great fun!

The children have been using scissors independently, and then using glue, tissues paper and boxes to create a role play fire engine and ambulance!

They had great fun using their imaginations and improving their motor skills to create something they could sit in and role play with!

Great work Marjon – look how proud the children are of their creation!

Flying Start @ Marjon Have Storybook Fun At Forest School!

This week, the children at Flying Start @ Marjon have been reading ‘The Stick Man’ down in the forest hut!

They have had a great time exploring the book and making different stick men out of play dough, sticks and natural materials that they have found in the forest!

The children even climbed trees and pretended to be the stick man in the stick man’s house!

After all the fun was had down at the forest, the children came back up to do a science experiment, with all the different nature objects they had found… The children had to found out what objects would sink and which would float!

What amazing Forest-based exploring and learning!

Flying Start @ Marjon Pre-School Role Play as Doctors!

This term in the pre-school at Flying Start @ Marjon, they are learning about and thinking about the people who help us…

The children have had great fun dressing up as Doctors and using their imagination when role playing!

They have used bandages to wrap up pretend bumps and cuts, and taken it in turns to be Doctors and patients – look how well wrapped up they all look!

Flying Start @ Marjon Explore Feelings Using Goop!

The toddlers at Flying Start @ Marjon have been getting messy, and enjoying themselves exploring sensory play!

They’ve been getting stuck into goop, and drawing different faces with different emotions in the goop!

They had some conversations all about feelings and emotions whilst playing, and it really allowed the children to explore this in a creative and fun way!

Flying Start @ Marjon Explore Autumn!

The children at Flying Start @ Marjon have been getting out and about in the fresh air, to explore the beautiful season of Autumn!

They’ve been playing in the leaves,and looking at all the amazing colours that they can see!

They’ve been jumping and enjoying the crunchy noises of the leaves under their wellies too!

Great fun had by Marjon!
