Flying Start @ Marjon Celebrate Festival of Holi!
Flying Start @ Marjon have been thinking about the Indian festival of Holi, which involves lots of colourful powder paints being thrown in the air…
And they decided to have their own Holi celebration in the nursery garden!!
The staff helped set up the area with powder paints and big sheets of paper, and all the children had a go at throwing the paints and looking at all the amazing colours!
What fantastic fun, and a great way to explore diversity & celebrate festivals from other cultures around the world!
Flying Start @ Marjon Celebrate St.Piran’s Day!

Delicious!
Flying Start @ Marjon Pre-School Do Football Training!
The pre-schoolers at Flying Start @ Marjon have been getting out in the fresh air and using the amazing outdoor spaces at the Marjon campus, to play football!
Danielle is a trained football coach, and she has been kindly giving the children some football sessions!
These sessions have been helping the children practice and develop some ball skills, and improve their co-ordination, as well as having a great run around in the outdoors!
Great work Marjon – and a huge thank you to Danielle!
Flying Start @ Marjon Make Amazing Prints With Paint!
The pre-school department at Flying Start @ Marjon have been getting really creative…
The children used these shower scrunchies in brightly coloured paints to create butterfly paintings!!
The texture looked great dabbed onto the butterfly wings – and was lots of fun too!
Great idea Marjon!
Flying Start @ Marjon Toddlers Visit Ambulance Station!
The toddler department at Flying Start @ Marjon made a special trip to the local ambulance station!
The children were excited to see the brightly coloured ambulances and listen to the very loud sirens! The paramedics discussed with the children why somebody might call an ambulance, and that their job is to help people who are poorly or hurt.
A huge thank you to the local ambulance crew for taking the time to show the children the ambulances & chat to them!
