The children at Redruth Flying Start have been taking part in lots of Easter fun! Parents/carers were invited in for an Easter egg hunt in the garden and other spring themed activities. The children have made lots of crafts to take home.

The Preschool children @ Flying Start Redruth have been learning all about tadpoles and the lifecycle of a frog. A couple of weeks ago we rescued some tadpoles from a puddle, and the children have loved watching them grow and talk about the differences they have witnessed.
Some of the Day Nursery children went on a trip to Kresen Kernow. We took snack to eat in the café and the children enjoyed looking at the different exhibitions. They also took part in some colouring and sat to read a story.
The Day Nursery Children at Redruth have well and truly got stuck into their Monkey Puzzle themed play this week. We have learnt the Makaton sign for Monkey and have enjoyed practicing our listening skills through the audio story 
The Day Nursery Children at Redruth have been learning about flowers in the garden and created their own flower pictures.
This week the Preschool children @ Flying Start Redruth made a wonderful tree themed Christmas card for our friends at Gwelan Tops. Then with the help of the day Nursery children they walked it up the hill to deliver it.
The Day nursery children at Redruth have been adding delicious vegetables into their daily home cooked bread!
This week they had a go at grating courgettes, I think you’ll agree that they did a fantastic job
The Day Nursery children took a special delivery of surplus milk to Gwealan-Tops for their Wednesday night free community meal.
They then stopped off at the park for snack and to explore the steps slides and swings.
